Why We Exist
SpringEco was born in response to three urgent challenges facing Burundi:
- Plastic waste mismanagement
- Youth unemployment
- School dropout due to lack of basic materials like pens
We believe those challenges are interconnected—and so is the solution. SpringEco transforms plastic waste into durable, affordable pens that create local jobs and help students stay in school, turning discarded materials into tools for learning and change.
