Florian MBANGA is SpringEco’s Strategic Consultant, advising on growth strategy, operational systems, and institutional development as the company scales Burundi’s first locally manufactured pen made from recycled plastic. His work spans the full arc of SpringEco’s buildout — from financial infrastructure and legal compliance to supply chain optimization, partnership development, and go-to-market strategy — supporting the company’s mission to turn plastic waste into affordable school supplies and green jobs for Burundian youth. Since joining in 2025, he has led the design of SpringEco’s financial management system, legal compliance infrastructure, and procurement strategy — contributing to documented cost efficiencies across the company’s operations.
Before joining SpringEco, Florian built his career at the intersection of education, institutional design, and cross-sector leadership. He helped establish Cubahiro International School in Bujumbura, leading its academic program and operations for over three years. He is the founder and CEO of LEAD for Burundi, an education transformation initiative and aspiring Teach For All network partner that trains top university graduates as teacher-leaders in underserved schools. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a specialization in International Business from GPN(China), with graduate studies in Organizational Leadership.
At SpringEco, Florian brings operating experience across both emerging-market education systems and early-stage enterprise building — a combination that allows him to move fluently between strategic planning and hands-on execution. His focus is on building the systems, partnerships, and internal capabilities that will allow SpringEco to operate independently and scale sustainably across Burundi and beyond.
With a background spanning education leadership, institutional design, and international business across China and Burundi, he advises SpringEco on growth strategy, operational systems, and partnership development.
